Sharon Smikle, Mental Health Counsellor & Community Educator

Sharon Smikle is a Mental Health Counsellor & Community Educator at IAM – providing support to individuals impacted by or living with mental illness, addiction, and trauma-related issues. Using a person-centred, strengths-based, and solutions-focused approach, she is passionate about helping people lead increasingly meaningful lives.

Mindy Lee, MSW, RSW 
Mindy is a family and individual clinical counsellor at IAM and a registered social worker who has been working in the mental health field for seven years. She earned her Bachelors of Social Work degree in 2014 and then Master of Social Work in 2021. Mindy has experience working with adults with dual diagnosis and youth with special needs. She is passionate about helping clients and their family members, conducting program evaluation and skill development. Mindy applies a strengths-based approach to her work and utilizes trauma-informed and recovery-oriented modalities as well as cognitive behavioural therapy. She is currently focusing on supporting individuals and their caregivers to increase daily functioning, reduce stress and improve their quality of life.
